At Step Places we put people and their futures at the heart of everything we do. Right from our foundation in 2008 we have embraced sustainability, innovation and technology to create homes and places which enhance the well-being of the people who occupy them, are kinder to the environment by design, and foster a strong sense of community and neighbourhood.

In 2020 we delivered our first completely built off-site new houses at Waterside Gardens, Wigan Pier. Today, all our new build houses and apartments incorporate energy saving heating and ventilation systems, come with access to electronic car charging points; have plenty of cycle storage and are designed to the highest of standards by world class architects.

Our dedicated team collaborate with our partners from across the public and private sectors, and local communities to plan, realise and deliver our vision, whether we are part of a team transforming a complete neighbourhood such as Ancoats, Manchester or the delivery partner creating a whole new community in Salford.
